Pretty normal, usually starts up in November/ December.
No… typically with the El Niño we see the STJ start to get active about the middle of November, so this would be right on time.

23 degrees here which broke the record low from 1991
Of course I checked and the winter of 91-92 is one of the least snowy on record here so there's that's ? even worse than last year somehow

My temp is up 2 degrees in the last hour oddly enough to 41
Wind started blowing I'm up 39 after getting down to 32

Weve started the warmup here but it took 4 days to hit 50. Very impressive cold snap for this early for sure
22.3 and still dropping a little bit. Pretty early for this crap.

I'm seeing very strange results for temps this morning as typically colder areas are having warmer than here for instance. We're at 28 but up towards Jasper they are 38 yet between there and Dalton they're low 20s or even upper teens.

My spot on James Island got down to 42. Not bad when the Charleston Harbor water is still near 70.
My truck thermometer was bouncing up and down the whole way to work. At the house we bottomed out at 21.2.

There was a tiny bit of fog arouns here for some reason, bet that had something to do with it.
The further east and northeast you go in the region it's possible tomorrow morning will be colder than this morning we kept a light wind here until around 3am
I got down to 27 at my location. Looks like the airport got down to 28. Good to get the (first freeze) monkey off our backs. Extended models are not showing anymore freezing temps at least into the middle of the month.
