Yeah that second N/S trough that lags behind the S/S wave may put in some work IMO if timed right and tilts right or becomes a ULL, wave 1 is still in play
Don’t discount that first wave yet ?

Gotta give the UK the credit of being super consistent, imo that solution bodes well for the second wave to, but the trade is big severe

Not your typical setup because we’re not reliant on a high pressure to our NE to get the job done
Also, the Canadian had that gulf low juiced up on that run and it was still close to a board wide hit.

Euro delivers for Tennessee as well as a little snow for far northern Alabama and Georgia.

Yes, but not really. The way the lows form is much different, and is the reason the Euro/GFS didn’t want to produce.
Better frame for the mountains at 240
It ended well. Couldn’t see what happened between 216 and 240 though
Yeah, we need the two pieces to phase together earlier on rather than with the main trough, like the CMC. Otherwise the storm will tilt positively, and we just get an overrunning with not a very cold air mass.
I don’t see any reason to be disappointed with tonight’s run, imo the trends are very encouraging, you don’t want to be in a bullseye now

Definitely best chance of an accumulating snow in December I’ve seen for middle Tennessee since December 2010. euro brings frozen precip in on Monday morning which is not that far out. But this Type of system is obviously going to be tricky and some could get a ton while others get very little.

I don’t want to be a Debby Downer, and hope everyone proves me wrong, but I don’t think we’ll see big snow from this pattern with the exception of TN and NC mountains. Maybe backend snow, but I highly doubt we see anything close to the good patterns we’ve had in the past. Way too much Low pressure, which I’ve ranted about for a while. That LP leads to cutters, and runners. I know we all say, it’ll trend better, but we haven’t seen a single good run so far with these setups. With the exception that of last nights GFS, but that was a different setup.
