I’m thinking you might see half a foot there.
Really need that wind to relax and that wind snow could turn into a dusting given the cold air mass. But 9 times out of 10 by the time the wind dies so does the precip.

MRX must be working on there afternoon package now. They are a little late with the afternoon discussion, so I would expect them to follow suit with a Winter Storm Watch like WNC did.
lol... they're notorious for very late or non-existent WSWs even during actual snow producing events..

Actually... yes this is very accurate
Im Noticing for those snow bands in NGA/AL that the DGZ is dry but there’s a moist layer below, with temps around freezing, I’d say graupel could suprise

For those who haven’t seen it yet, I started a new thread (Snow Wheeling) for snow chasers and snow wheelers. Plan your chase, Post your pics, and discuss your chase and your 4X4! Might do a few snow runs to the mountains or wherever the snow takes us
Might get 2-4 inches of snow down here in Columbia AKA the armpit of Hell.
Brad P also thinks Wilkes/Surry are mtns. There is a high chance of heavy wind snow imo here. Accumulations around 0”.
Looks like they pulled the trigger on a Winter Storm Watch. I'm giddy

MRX has stripped all mention of snow from CHA's official forecast.. lol I knew that was going to happen.

Of course there’s nothing to phase with this so it gets no injection of cold air with a perfect track, sucks to suck !!!

To my fellow upstaters we need a Miller A storm track. NW snow events the mountains kills our snow occasionally we could get a flurry but anything more is unlikely. Super clippers are rare but can happen from time to time.
