Really interesting if we can get another cycle of some +SCAND >>> -NAO, I like this is happening later which pushes it into a better window of climo, reminds me of 2018 but this time later, can the cycle be successful tho ?

Your ideal weather has flip flopped a lot, I recall a post saying you hated snow and wanted 70s year round , then later you went on about how you want some snow, and 70s are now way too warm ? Hmm. Either way average high for this date in Raleigh is 68 so it’s not a stretch to be in the 70s in November during a warmup. Without looking Columbia , wilmington , Charleston , Augusta etc all still have average highs in the 70s.
Not really, 70s is perfect outside weather, can actually go outside without feeling like your lips, sinuses and eyes aren’t being attacked by the dry cold

70s for RDU in November isn't that unusual but the low temperatures will be significantly above normal. The past few Novembers have mostly been colder than normal with few warm days (November 2019 was only slightly warmer than January 2020 IIRC, and was colder than December 2019).

Wind is really ripping up here and should only get stronger after sunset. I was in downtown Blowing Rock today and a group of older folks asked me for directions to WALK to the actual blowing rock. Told them how to drive there and advised them not to wear any hats!
