That's a lot of rain considering the forecast track is hundreds of miles south of places like MD, DE, NJ. I guess most of that rain will be from other sources ?

First legit batch of rain moving north into the Sandhills. Gonna be a nice evening to stay inside watch a movie, maybe a take a nap

Nice plume of moisture but not resulting in any rain, at least in this part of Chatham. But it looks like Wake on east are getting some. We need it here.

Well, as you say the focusing mechanism is still way west, and the cc is down in west FL. But incredible feed of moisture incoming has to result in some rain, even with those limitations. If that front was closer.....

I would agree, but I'm under a FFW and under RAH. They go out to forsyth, but they need to adjust it from me in the west to Raleigh proper.

Pretty significant contrast in dews today across TN.... Dews are in the 30s in extreme western TN.
