I guess I'm canceling my week off next week. Can't install a French drain while its pouring buckets. After 10-12 days no rain, it's really going to start the day I'm supposed to start....
GSP says 81 here today. I’m skeptical, since the warm days this week have busted 1-4F low. Currently 49F

Looking like the first legit look for severe wx is emerging for Dixie, there may also be some severe wx before this, especially for areas more west. Overall pretty favorable look on models with a closed low moving across the southern/central US with a strong mid level wind field, currently...

We did it! It’s 80 at RDU ! More than a third of all days year round are 80 or higher so many more to come .

So the GFS has the March version of the February southern plains Arctic outbreak! We have had quite a few impressive Arctic outbreaks the last 6 years or so ! 2014, 2015, 2018, 2019, and now 2021. Very similar to the 80s which makes me believe we are due for another lull in outbreaks! Especially for the plains .
