What could help tho is a stronger ridge in Canada on top the ULL to help slow/amp it, also risking a weaker eastern US trough

It’s early-mid March not January, wavelengths are shorter and canonical relationships to winter storm patterns begin to break down at this time of the year. There’s a good reason the PNA is most influential near mid-winter.
18z euro looked better towards the end of its run with a cutoff emerging quicker/more ridging on top, don’t shoot the messenger I just say what happened

The absolute worst , just give me cold and dry please . I don’t want any more cold rain unless we trending this thing to the Ohio valley and getting a mild day.

I think this thing is going to trend back to a snowier run for some. But it can’t happen to soon or we know where that will lead. I don’t want to see it trend good till Wednesday or Thursday
