Are they talking about upgrading the counties outlined in bold or something?

Radar doesn’t look as promising in AL as it did earlier.
Losing some energy to the north as the trough begins to pivot. The southern part of the band should start to take over but the northern part should hold together

Ok folks. I'm having to delete posts that say things like: "Awesome", "WTH", "So do I", "Looks good for me", etc..
Please either refrain from posting, or put it in the banter thread or chatbox. Also, there is an OBS thread dedicated to what's happening currently, and another for closings. Let's try to keep this thread as streamlined as possible. We are all excited! Thanks!

Limestone Sheriff @LimestoneCoSO

Limestone County EMA: All roads in Limestone County have been deemed IMPASSABLE. This does not apply to streets in the City of Athens.

FFC updated the WWA to say "up to 1 inch" for the entire advisory area. A minor bump from the earlier WWA which said up to 0.5" for most of the area.

"WHAT...Snow expected. Very cold wind chills expected. Plan on
slippery road conditions. Total snow accumulations of up to one
inch are expected. Expect wind chills to range from 5 above zero
to 5 below zero."

losing some punch back towards west AL....any social media reports of total back in central MS?
That big moisture back in Texas/La is still moving east and eventually form the band later. The stuff in west Bama isn't the big band yet
