Wintry More SE Snow ? (1/16-1/18)

Is the radar supposed to fill back in over time because I'm beginning to worry about the western edge of this storm.

I have a feeling that by the end of the day, Columbia will be the only city in the SE without any appreciable snowfall. Central GA is getting some now and central SC was the only one left to get hit. I’m sure there are some others.

Waiting on the show to start. Looked like the runs overnight had 5 to 7 here.

Latest HRRR looks great!

Ended up with a solid 1.5 I think....hard to get an accurate measurement with the wind. Current temp of 16.7.

Snow total for the winter at my crib is right at 6 inches. Measured 4.5 back in December. An above average Winter to say the least....with Fab Feb left to go!

Hope you NC folks make out better than we did in AL. We had a major dry layer that destroyed most of ours. All in all, I think most all major roads are good here, but the secondaries have some issues. I think the NWS did a good job, it's just hard to see those small scale things like a thin dry layer that couldn't be overcome. Congrats to all in AL who did get some appreciable amounts.

That's what it looked to me in Stone Mountain. This has been a fun storm and with only thinking I'd get a dusting a day or so ago, getting an inch+ was a nice treat.

Good luck to those in the Carolina's.

No words for how awesome this looks. Yes banter I know
