The 11am to 3pm time period looks amazing for us to really get into some fairly heavy stuffI can't find where I said it, but I said no more than one hour of mix at RDU. Even though no measurable precipitation has been reported, they have reported rain/snow for two hours. I was wrong, and I will eat my two dozen bags of crow - with 10" of snow
The main reason for this is because of the system slowing down, which is going to work out very, very well for many of us in central NC. I'll take being wrong in order to get more snow. I can even become the official wrong prediction guy if this will work every time! The latest HRRR is mind-boggling.

Sorry for the imby question but what about areas further west like CLT/GSO?I think 10" is the ceiling - I think that may be the max but 6-8" may be in a decent area.
