Some of us will get a hard April freeze but because the Atlanta or Raleigh airport doesn't they can declare victory.

I haven’t declared no last freeze… those buggers gon keep happening tho far less frequency than winter , wouldn’t be surprised if we only got 2-4 left tho , looks like we warmup soon

The D5-6 timeframe still looks interesting on most of the modeling. It’s not there and probably won’t be in the end, but it wouldn’t take that much to lead to a wet snow event, IMO. Of course, it could just as easily trend the other way and, let’s be honest, squashing systems has been commonplace this winter, so I wouldn’t expect it to trend “right” for us.

18z GFS has a pretty good thump for the mountains with the D4 storm. Doubt it’ll be cold enough anywhere else. The GFS is largely on its own having a storm at all, but the GFS is the King after the February storm. 👑

Verbatim, it’s 35-40 with rain for a lot of the NC Piedmont, which is nice.

Winter still up on Beech:

And in Boone:

Wow, looks nice. Boone is my dream climate! I'll probably retire out West but if I were to retire in the East it would probably be a Boone like place.

Think we're gonna need a 3/14 - 3/16 Severe Thread. I'm not liking the looks of the potential.
