Hi-res models had me not even getting 1/10th of liquid and i'm over 1/2 inch already and still pouring.

Definitely had some sleet mixed in when heavier precip was falling
I thought I was until it started bouncing on the hood of my truck. Definitely rate driven. And it’s not enough to sled on I don’t think

Yeah, it really is hard grasp. We are in one of the rainiest places in the SE and routinely jackpot for storms and rains; over and over, but get a little cold in here and we find ourselves scratching for hundredths of an inch while everyone around cashes in. It's unbelievable.

Wound up with a little over an inch of liquid here... a pretty crazy qpf bust when pretty much all guidance had anywhere from .1-.5 here, and the hi-res models were on the lower end of that.

Mix of that heavy mist/light rain continuing all day yesterday and frost led to me being able to hear my car door on opening it.

I love weather days like today and they are pretty rare in the south. We had a light frost this morning and a 43 deg F diurnal temperature difference!
We are playing the worlds most dangerous game with the backdoor front Thursday into Friday. NAMs drive it back to the mountains but I haven't seen anything else that aggressive yet
80.2 today earlier first 80 than last year but still later than many in the last 5-10 years
What is amazing to me is just one system after another crashing into the west, moving east, potentially bombing out in the Plains and creating round after round of severe weather. This will be a Spring to remember.

Yeah i think even if this weekend busts or whatever there will be plenty more setups at this rate
I mean this will be the 2nd time in 10 days here that we'll have nearly unprecedented dry wind and extreme fire weather
Also going back to 2011 there were a bunch of setups before 4/27. It didn't just happen out of nowhere
Wedge is the eternal enemy of spring around here
