Euro has 3-6” of rain over the next 10days in the upstate and WNC. Way higher totals out west. I know who I trust more between it and the GFS

Yeah, they could not be more different right now. Hopefully reality is towards the middle of the 2.

I'm probably 15 miles from the fire and I have seen ashes falling for the last two days

The smoke, haze, and ash is really bad here. It smells awful outside which sucks because it’s actually been really nice outside

Same here and it's a stupid mulch fire now not the wildfires that have dominated this month

Leaf out is way latter than past several years here, Put spuds in the ground 3 weeks ago and still no sign of them yet. Last year they where up and growing like gangbusters by now.

Surprise freeze this morning @ 31.1degF. I knew it might get to the mid 30s but not quite that low.
Wow, RDU got to 34. GSO to 34 as well. FAY to 36. No doubt most locales outside the cities got down to / below freezing.
