Why would we use a sat estimate when we have recon clearly showing a pressure around 947-048mb?Bros. Calm tf down. He's trying to intensify as we speak. Hail & Lightning in the core again and a 6.5 T rating
Sat estimate at 928mb...
Old center fixes. A plane literally just did a center pass and lowest pressure was 947.7

The chance of a direct path into Tampa goes up by the minute.Still running north of the track. Think the Tampa Bay might be the landfall point directly View attachment 153070

Yes. That certainly appears to be the timeframe. The eye wall could be on the coast a little ahead of that too. Also, looking possibly as early as a 7-8PM landfall! Opinions?
Could be...this storm has been a Rebel since inception. Also, looking possibly as early as a 7-8PM landfall! Opinions?
It looks to me like the cloud tops near the center are cooling fairly rapidly on south and west side of the eye. Also, radar indicates, though light in intensity, the south and west side of the eye finally beginning to show some precip again. maybe gonna at least stabilize? I would prefer it get totally infiltrated with dry air and be done for the sake of the poor folks down in Florida!Bros. Calm tf down. He's trying to intensify as we speak.
