You can see the decaying eyewall from when Milton was a Cat 4 this morning...new eyewall is a hot mess when the plane sampled the NE quad surface winds were Cat 1-2 at best...seems likely the feared swath of 100 mph gust across Florida is less likely now.

CAT 1 at landfall if they do a pass within an hour of it hitting. Storm surge looking pretty meager at this point as well.
