The worse the storm isn't here yet, it will be this afternoon.
 
With each gust I wonder if this is the one that KO's the power...and I definitely saw a brief light flicker this time.
 
As the low pressure system moves acoss southwestern Georgia, it's going to pull those heavier bands of rain north and westward. That's when things will start to really go down.

Still just some light rain here in Atlanta. Occasional gust up to 20mph but the wind really hasn't blown bad here. We will see what this afternoon brings when the heavier bands approach.
 
Had a huge 30 to 35 mph gust from what I can tell here just a few minutes ago. Also, they are turning the water off for 30 minutes to replace a meter up here. Who would do that in a tropical storm? Couldn't they just hold off a day?

My dad tried to call a sewer company to fix a blockage in our home and was promptly told no because of the storm.
 
My oldest daughter is in Atlanta, next to I-75 just after I-85 splits off. At 8am she had lost power 4 times since 5am, the longest for 10 minutes.
 
Hoping the wind direction starts to change soon. Winds are out of of the NE, and a tall tree plus winds could mean a branch down later on. Also have a large tree facing the driveway that could mean trouble if they don't shift. The winds are definitely picking up and are sustained probably around 10 to 20 mph.
 
Yeah winds aren't all that for me. They were stronger at 2am this morning ‍♂️. But in all fairness, it wasn't supposed to get gusty up here till after 3 or so

All it takes is a tree limb brushing up against a wire to cause a momentary outage or flicker. Hoping that's the worst of it for you!
 
Gusts are really picking up here in Decatur. Going to leave my comfy upstairs bedroom for the basement for the remainder of the day.
 
Here in Paulding starting to feel first impulse of wind some and probably now steady 20 mph and a few gusts close to 30
