Not that I like it, just that I acknowledge it. How can we help?Me - just trees; across the street - tree in to the living room ceiling ...

In my location, this was NOTHING compared to Opal. That woman was a -----!For those who experienced Opal, how would this compare ?
That's good Rosie It was a two cat day. Down here I think the rain is the big deal, and I thought it would be the wind. I've got 4 inches and probably another coming before the big rains end. The wind was like a good old fashioned cold front barrelling in with wind gusting over a steady blow...but lasting 5 hours, or so. I sat out on the porch the whole time and nothing flew by. It was kind of calming watching the tree tops blowing all round, knowing the cold air had killed the spinners, lol. But the people in Cuba and Fla./sGa. paid the price, and all that flooding on the east coast too. I feel fortunate with this one.Cats wanting my lap all day, no major wind here.
I lived in Dahlonega for a year. Beautiful area.Gusting to 62 from what I've seen so far, at the University of North Georgia, here in Dahlonega. It's unreal when these gusts come through. Can't imagine what y'all down in Florida went through, or the poor souls out on the Islands.
Opal had bigger winds thru me. Not sure they lasted as long. Don't remember the rain with opal, but I'm getting energetic rains well after the wind died downIn my location, this was NOTHING compared to Opal. That woman was a -----!
