Me - just trees; across the street - tree in to the living room ceiling ...
Thanks for asking - feel blessed ... but am gut wrenched from when I went into Gainesville proper today ... trees down everywhere, and I believe it was spinners the way things are twisted ...

Scanner going nonstop in Franklin Co GA! They can't keep up with the downed trees and power lines. Been this way for hours and gusts incredible! So many people said "ahh it's not going to do anything"! People kill me
 
Amazing wind break around my yard and house so the wind never hits us full force, but I can hear it roaring for the first time tonight.

If you're asking about for me ... just smile, smile, smile --- we're good.
If you're asking about the State at large, I've seen nothing announced, but I'm sure, as with Texas, the Red Cross and a few others will be there to put 100% toward folks who need it.
 
Gusting to 62 from what I've seen so far, at the University of North Georgia, here in Dahlonega. It's unreal when these gusts come through. Can't imagine what y'all down in Florida went through, or the poor souls out on the Islands.

That's good Rosie :) It was a two cat day. Down here I think the rain is the big deal, and I thought it would be the wind. I've got 4 inches and probably another coming before the big rains end. The wind was like a good old fashioned cold front barrelling in with wind gusting over a steady blow...but lasting 5 hours, or so. I sat out on the porch the whole time and nothing flew by. It was kind of calming watching the tree tops blowing all round, knowing the cold air had killed the spinners, lol. But the people in Cuba and Fla./sGa. paid the price, and all that flooding on the east coast too. I feel fortunate with this one.

I lived in Dahlonega for a year. Beautiful area.

So sad for the victims, have many friends in S FL, so far all ok. Now I have a 3 cat lap
