I wonder if the interaction between Irma and the "wedge" is leading to the rain shield now being almost totally on the north side of the center??

Gusting close to 50 mph here now. Can hear a faint roar when it gets up that speed.

On occasion all day I've heard something loud hit something.

Still haven't really seen much wind in my area. Highest gust has been near 20 but that was a bit ago. Lol. Looks like worst of it is east and south of me

Will the bands and strong winds now across central north GA pivot into S TN?
This is what my local ABC station post. Base velocity on radarscope at 30-40 now. But it has an eerie feeling. Cold damp light breeze. Currently 57° in Cleveland TN

Best site to monitor winds/gusts? Try to check weather underground but no one around me has a decent wind guage.

I'm one of them, lost power about 2:30 in Senoia, Ga. Highest wind gust recorded was 44mph before neighbors grill cover took out anemometer. Thanks for not tying it down DAN.
