It's usually said the strongest part of the hurricane is the right side of the eye relative to forward direction. The radar indicates the west side eyewall mush stronger when you'd expect just the opposite

GFS has Harvey lasting until the END of the month, stalled in all the rain it produces after taking a drink form the Gulf. Texas gets over 40" of rain. Who ever thought we would be talking about a major hurricane hitting and dropping historic rain amounts?
