Not to mention even the short range HRRR has been horrible.
Yep 100 percent . But it follows the colder trends of the day and keeps the low further south

Da-yum! I'm in 13+.here you go folks Edit: I posted a map that wasn't for public viewing yet..but maybe put out after other high res models come in. Needless to say, trends are for a big snow for north Alabama.
Got a legend for the colors?

its the BAMS modelWhere did you get that from???
It’s a TV stations model....not used by anyone but them. They don’t have an ice algorithm so it calculates out to snow, and the output is a ratings grab.Where did you get that from???
Can you post the hrrr for the midsouth a little further west please? Thanks in advance
Very true....I just don’t buy it at all. However, we have seen models play catch up all throughout an event...actually, a lot of our big events is a constant model catch up game.... ?Yep 100 percent . But it follows the colder trends of the day and keeps the low further south

All I need is a 15 mile East shift and bingo!
He knows how the balance it all out. From ratings, to most likely scenario, to leaving a window open to say he was right if it snows a foot...it’s a game.James Spann just posted a update and says just rain in Birmingham. Using 18Z euro as a model......
Been headed your way all day....All I need is a 15 mile East shift and bingo!
Interstate 40? Bet it’s on the north side only!
