Isobars east of the mountains look good but we’re funneling in seasonal cold. Total waste of a 1040 stuck in the middle of the country giving @Brent snow @ 8 degreesICON cuts and gives us a lot of rain monday View attachment 73710
The high at the airport which is southwest of downtown was 57 just afternoon and then fell back into the lower 50s by 3pm. To the north and east of town temps only topped out in the 52-54 range and then fell back into the upper 40s by mid afternoonCLT made it to 59 today. Believe that was warmer than what the NAM had at least .
Couldn’t you just spare us 10 degrees? I mean snow at 18 degrees is still pretty coolI've never even see anything like some of what these runs are showing lol
People keep on saying this, but I’ve not seen any evidence it’s true this year. If anything, every model is cold biased (especially the GGEM/RGEM).Good thing is warm biased at 2m
Same I haven't seen any actual literature about it maybe I just overlooked itPeople keep on saying this, but I’ve not seen any evidence it’s true this year. If anything, every model is warm biased (especially the GGEM/RGEM).

If we keep on saying it’s true enough, we’ll start to believe it!! Maybe Mother Nature will, too?Same I haven't seen any actual literature about it maybe I just overlooked it
The one constant that we see no matter the solution is there’s gonna be a lot of moisture. So now that the ICON showed what it shows, wouldn’t it be funny if the 0z GFS and Euro went back to colder solution...Flooding is a legit threat with this pattern even though it has been a bit drier the past few months. Will the real Brick please stand up... LOL ?Actually, if everyone changed their avatar to mine it could bring us good luck for a winter storm. I mean, it's just as likely to work as our great patterns do these days.
