Wintry King Kong Winter Storm Potential Feb 13th-16th

Nam still going with a northern track for the low . Everything trended south today including the euro but the nam is sticking to this for now

Everyone tracking this system even for parts of Eastern AL and GA the element to track is the Low pressure system and its track and just how far it goes into gulf and tracks eastward before cutting.... the longer that track carries eastward without cutting the more people will have cold air filter in further down the pipe to get in on the action...which I mean freezing rain is pretty but a pain to deal with

It will most likely cave
It started to be a southern track at 42hrs but correct back to original track at 48hrs.
 
Sure am hoping for an east / south shift... I’m on the Ga/Al line... so close!!!! Come on south and east trends... drag that cold air! We have busted so many times this year on forecasts for high temps and low temps.

LATE MONDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation possible. Total snow and sleet
accumulations of up to one inch and ice accumulations of one tenth
to two tenths of an inch possible.

* WHERE...In Alabama, Madison, Morgan and Cullman counties. In
Tennessee, Moore, Lincoln and Franklin counties.

* WHEN...From Monday afternoon through late Monday night.

* IMPACTS...Travel could become extremely hazardous.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Rain will change to freezing rain and sleet
late Sunday afternoon evening and overnight. The precipitation
may mix with or change to snow for a period Monday night.
