This is one of those that until we are in range of the short range models we will not know what this is going to do. The Globals are useless with this storm

The icon has been the most consistent model for a last day or two. Of this ends up verifying it should be given more respect in the future.
I wonder if it’ll do that thing where energy holds back over the lakes again

Trend all winter long at this range is for the lp to move further south than modeled. Maybe not this time, but I'd hedge my bets that way.

That stuff hovering over the lakes disrupts things, need a ridge over the GLs not that 
Wow even with a complete cutter on the WEST side of the mountains and that cold air wedge is just absolutely entrenched in the SOUTH EAST .. goes to show how dangerous this set up is .. cutter or not I hope you’re wishing for suppression and a south trend of this is about to be a killer ice storm for many

Definitely looks like that Frozen Precip has leaked further East so far on this run compared to previous we shall see if it holds together
