Yeah the GEFS is the definition of delayed but not denied .. many members with big time winter storms even after the initial “storm” hits

I think it’s eventually inevitable someone will have to deal with a big ice storm
All I see that looks good right now is Stuff pushed back around D8-10 like always, but it’s nice to see the cold (at least on the GEFS/GFS sticking around, however they could be to progressive with the TPV (progressive bias)
Based off the looks I’m seeing I think western parts of the SE and CAD areas (NW Piedmont/foothills) are favored for some ice with the king dong storm (yes haha I’m funny) , but you never know we could see some good trends, although seemingly going with the warmest model with the less snow/ice seems to bode well

I’m tired of this back and forth bullcrap with the TPV. Go way one way or other, this in between nonsense is gonna leave most of us with cold rain. Gimme snow or severe weather

Might sound like a hot take here but if we had a positive NAO, this TPV would have already hauled it east. One thing you notice about the composites I posted several days ago is that a few days before a storm shows up, the NAO goes positive and thus the background flow speeds up, vortex comes east.
