Pattern June Presented by: Heat and Humidity

No idea man, its constantly 10x-20x reality. Im going to take it apart and rebuild it I'm not sure if it is a sensing issue or the tipping bucket isnt tight enough so 1 drop immediately depresses it
Good luck! Heard they got some good stations for like $500-$1000...like those Davis ones.

The cold front hasn't even traversed the mountains yet... Plenty of fuel for storm development. Looks to be a very active week or so for the Carolina's. GA and the TN Valley are going to bone dry for the next week, so it could be way worse.
NC and SC west of 77 probably bone dry too.

Can someone tell me what I’m missing?? The NWS has issued a Flood Watch for Union County,NC, but I’m not seeing anything firing up to the west

I don't think there's going to be enough clearing here today for storms to develop. Clouds keep hanging around.

Yeah, surface-based CAPE is struggling to recover a bit over the Triangle, for now. That could change, but clouds keep on training over the same area's. Meanwhile, surface-based CAPE is approaching 3000 CLT points east. Curious to see if we can get some more coverage to the S or SW of CLT...

Should see storms develop in this circle as time goes on, OFB moving west (blue line) , along with pre frontal storms already moving east should combine and strengthen updrafts and form newer storms 869D23C6-27BF-474C-85AE-898BE6BF865C.png

The 12z Euro is bone dry for much of the midsouth from GA to TX right through day to and show the start of 95-100 degree heat at day 10. Looks a lot like the summer of 1993 is going to repeat in the southeast. That summer was bone dry and very hot.

Yup. Literally no convection that looks impressive. HRRR is a trash model. Whyyyyy do we still use it?

Why did WRAL hype the chance of storms so much for the next week? We can't get squat.

I'm going to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg during the 20th-23rd so I hope the weather cooperates with us and it doesn't get too hot
