I wasn't home but it looks like my house never made it out of the low 80s and was dumped on! I was in Raleigh where it was dry hot and super humid.
FWIW 0Z Euro showing historic rainfall accumulations for the Carolinas into next week! ?
Typical east-central NC flash flood.Not a drop
Welcome to the sink zone! Go to Snoopy's and get a hotdog!Going to be in Raleigh today through Tuesday and it looks....wet. So much for my day at the beach.
At least it won't be 90. Silver linings I suppose.

That's a nice drop there in the last 2 hours. it's down to the upper 50's here and feels nice. Yesterday was awful with those high dewpoints.View attachment 42789Nice drop in dew points even here in the Armpit of Hell (Columbia) this morning. 66° dew point feels amazing to the mid 70s we have had all week.
I bet along and east of 95 and the triad to charlotte do well with this ullTypical east-central NC flash flood.
Last ull too far west. Next ull too far east.
Also the Anson, Stanley. and Montgomery county area.I bet along and east of 95 and the triad to charlotte do well with this ull
Post a pic! Both models show at least some rainfall back over my way from Sunday into early next week. Maybe it'll happen. The Euro is overdone with its 20 inch amounts NW of Wilmington though.
NW trend! Congrats GSOPost a pic!
Yep. I've noticed some posters do well in summer. They get rain several times a week. Then some like me, you and rain cold go weeks without a drop. Can't be just coincidence as its like this every year. Not a drop
Looks good...all I really want is some oysters on the half shell. I'll brave rain at the beach for that.
If I get dry slotted....Tough week for vacationers along the coast. Particularly the Outer Banks. I’d need a refund..View attachment 42799

Aaand Wake County rain shield activated. Right on cue.
Unfortunately and fortunately that’s how summer is ..hit or miss and random strings of humid summer time pop up storms to random strings of dry hot weather that can pop up at any time .. I think it gives chasing a bit more excitementRemember a couple days ago when we had thunderstorms in the forecast for 7 straight days? Now it looks like the next chance is Sunday night into Tuesday, and I'm sure we'll miss out on any good storms then, too.
I doubt that would be storms at this point anyway prob just areas of heavy rain. Ill tell you what though we are really playing with fire early next week when it comes to heavy rain. Stalled front, high pwats, ESE flow, potential weak low meandering inland from the coast.Remember a couple days ago when we had thunderstorms in the forecast for 7 straight days. ICON has highs around 60 here for Mon and Tues.

Can you say +PNA? If we're lucky, the SE could get a couple of BN days from this days 11-12. Day 10 is still AN/N transitioning on this.
But this is day 10 on an op run and there is a thing called cold bias. So, not betting on BN days 11-12. Just hoping.

Monday has gone down the drain given the change of the ULL position, but Sunday is quite interesting, lots of cold air aloft and some 500mb flow, lol maybe someone can get more hail accums then snow if this holds View attachment 42807View attachment 42810View attachment 42811
