I have had .50" or so over the last 30 days, places within 2-3 miles of me have had 2-4" of rain in the last 24 hrs....all month storms have managed to not hit my neighborhood....probably the driest 30 days here in several years....

This rogue storm will miss me, stabilize the atmosphere, and then that trailing line will hit the stable air here and weaken.

Probably the kiss of death but I think we get an uptick in coverage in the eastern half of the state starting Tuesday lasting through Saturday. Could get a little fun after that if the ridge can inch far enough west we might be able to get a little bit of weak upper level energy trapped over the area

That might be a little extreme, and if it will make you feel better I haven’t had a drop today. You should also know though that I will be near the Myrtle Beach area for the week starting this Saturday. Maybe I can rub off my rain luck to you Carolina folks that need it so badly while I am there.
