July Surprise!

Yeah, I got lucky this week. Definitely got enough rain to keep the grass green. Just bummed I missed out from the MCS from yesterday.

I see that the SPC has a marginal risk for parts of north Georgia tomorrow. Maybe some interesting storms tomorrow before we dry out for a few days?View attachment 44061
The 18z NAM almost wants two rounds.

One in the early to mid afternoon from the decaying MCS which might not have any severe weather by that point but who knows.F8CACE81-95BE-44B5-92F4-C86389900058.jpeg

Then another batch forms late tomorrow evening after sunset. The NAM has this around between 9-Midnight. That may be the one to watch for an isolated severe storm but it is not the most favorable timing. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.413E879B-BBA5-4B0C-ADBA-93343E4E8EB5.jpeg

Really got going quick and has anviled off nicely in just the last 10 minutes.

EDIT to add pic. I'm the blue dot up by Greenville.

Who down to chase those storms in ENC on Monday ? Shear looks unusually high, could be a few supercells before upscale growth

Wish NAM was showing something tomorrow I’m sure it will join the rest with late night storms

It oddly didn't feel horrible to me outside. Maybe I've adjusted, or maybe it is just because there was a good amount of shade.
