Ngl there’s a pretty robust CU field S of CLT with some action trying to get going, maybe the ofb can trigger that stuff
 
nah today busted could tell before lunch time when that western wilkes storm didn't like this environment. energy went north and pounded DC area today.
 
Same the pond in the neighborhood went from over filled to seeing dirt around the edges. Probably could use a good 4-6 inches in most places to get back to normal

No rain today, car said 96 on way home from work!
 
The beach may not be as pretty as Florida but those waves crashing against my chest feel pretty dang good :p

Jesus round 2 for Virginia tonight. Radar is lit up there to the west after widespread storms early today
 
Ok here is my "dummy question" of the month...
Why do distant cumulonimbus "tops" appear and orange/pink color, versus the white of closer tops. Noticed this yesterday while driving and just wondered. Thanks

My guess is it would be the same reason the sun looks orange when it sets. Hope I didn't blind you with science with that technical response :)
