If you love dry heat and drought I'd recommend Arizona as an option. Most of us on here like storms and not getting placed under water restrictions... Droughts are horrible for crops and farmers and that is the LAST thing we need during this time. Just sayin'.

I like storms, I just like less storms in summer. Arizona is nice.

I like storms, I just like less storms in summer. Arizona is nice.

The best time for storms during summer in my opinion is the mid-late evening hours Into the overnight. I love me some big time evening boomers. It also minimizes the impacts to anything I want to do in the afternoon.

Lol. But that's when we get the majority of our storms, minus spring which can vary year to year. I just would hate to see drought. With all that's going on this year, the last thing we need is a billion-dollar drought disaster. And that goes for all the U.S. Arizona is meh, although I have been in Phoenix during monsoon season. There is something magical about desert thunderstorms.
