Yeah definitely a blend of the two but my thinking of it concretely being that was wrong … to say it’s fully one way or the other would be wrong as well .. seems it’s different for different meteorologists and NWS offices

Today's high at DFW was 102*F, making it the hottest day of the year (we'll see what the weekend brings).

Just as SD promised, we did in fact eventually get our 3+ day period of 100*F+ temps.

I mean east Alabama is home to the highest point in the state (cheaha). I don't consider west central ga around Lagrange to be high in elevation.
