Have to wonder if Thursday and Friday end up as our 2 hottest days of the year. If the front and any convection are late Friday 100 seems doable south of 40 with 97-98 at RDU
HI for here tomorrow 107-110! Ridiculous

Yep, then the 6z GFS shows next Monday and Tuesday possibly staying in the 60s for some. That's still days out and would require a CAD type setup; but it would be very nice. Here's mid afternoon next Monday (Tuesday looks similar):

Yeah no matter what model you look at next week should be a nice treat as far as highs with most modeling having us 85 or less for the majority of the week. Subtle differences in the wave in the NE and how the trough loads to our west make the difference between rainy/high dews like the Euro or wedged/lower dews like the GFS.

We might see the Bermuda ridge try to nose in by 8/10 but being on the far western edge of the bermuda ridge in mid August is likely to only give us upper 80s

Yo, I went for a walk yesterday evening, and it was 87 / 74. The air was so thick it was like wearing a blanket. My eye lids were sticking to the top of my eye sockets, it was so sticky out. Terrible walking weather @GaWx . lol
