I'm sure there are stats to prove me wrong but right off the top of my head I remember most 100+ days at RDU being 95+ at noon so we might fall just short into the 97-98 range especially with the cu field growing.NW you say ? Silver lining for missing the rain???Clouds are moving out we should start mixing down on dews. GSO has a dew of 64 wow
Those 0.08 amounts can be frustratingWe better score on the next chances of rain.

Yeah it's certainly looking more like an east of 95 event now next week for the huge totals. With the US1 to 95 corridor doing OK at at least keeping any dry conditions awayYea, next week is dead to me. Back to waiting for September frontal passages or something tropical.
Although after this week, frontal passage might not be enough. These clay soils are so dry, anything that comes is just running off. Might be in need a few CADs to fix these soils.
It is only 91 here but with a dewpoint of 81.5 it doesn’t feel better. I here distant thunder though.KATL is 5 cooler than 24 hours ago thanks largely to clouds!
I'm gonna set myself up an irrigation system and pump water to here from downeast.I'm glad it rained today to drop the temp but humidity is still gross. Getting tired of the rain to be honest
What mechanism is providing the rain? Sorry, I haven't followed to see what system/pattern is driving it.Yeah it's certainly looking more like an east of 95 event now next week for the huge totals. With the US1 to 95 corridor doing OK at at least keeping any dry conditions away
Trough/almost closed upper lowWhat mechanism is providing the rain? Sorry, I haven't followed to see what system/pattern is driving it.
Perturbations within the longwave trough, interacting with a stalled frontal zone. What mechanism is providing the rain? Sorry, I haven't followed to see what system/pattern is driving it.
I topped out at 94 which was 4 degrees below last night’s forecast. I never imagined that I could see a low of 78, have full sunshine all day and not at least make a run at 100. The dewpoint never really mixed down much heat. It started at 77 and is now at 72Hit a high of 97 at my house today.
