Yea and it was low to mid 20s in Salisbury and snowed this stupid pixie dust for 3hrs and was a waste of time imo

Helps that many of us will have a hard freeze before this hypothetical deal, but the road mess probably isn't coming as some of the areas who could hypothetically get hit managed to end up at 80 earlier in the month.
 
Am I reading it right though? Wouldn't this mean warmer temps with the trough moving westward, not just the shortwave, right? Totally prepared to be surprised once the surface stuff comes out or we see what happens in the later hours - just my read on it based on what I've been learning the last few days.

EDIT - guess not - it still swings eastward and brings (some of) us the cold?
