Less than 3 days out and all we really know is there is potential for a winter storm. Still don't know exactly where and how much.

I'll take it. Looks like the globals are still looking good for my area compared to the NAM.
This has been the winter of waves appearing out of nowhere in the short range giving us flizzards, I’m not even shocked at this point

At this point chasers will probably have to look at the radar and just leave. Anywhere from Murphy to Burlington have been jackpoted.

Another good looking global. If you just take these at face value it does look like a lot of folks will at least get to see some snow. And you never really know how much it will end up where you're at.

Everything is trending normally. The models will lose this storm again, and then re-emerge. Outside of the mountains(3000')this is going to be a typical dynamic cooling event. Whoever ends up under the deformation band wins with ~2" of accumulation at best. If you are under the band it will be incredibly fun to watch because regardless of sfc temps, rain, sun angle, etc snow will pile up quickly. It will most likely produce huge wet flakes and make drinking bourbon that much more enjoyable. Then again, it may be cold rain haha
That’s a Roxboro jackpot, so it makes sense in that respect.
The HRW-FV3 (which is a solid CAM) was about to be pretty good ?, was about to move a big band East and was switching over
