Lightening up ever so slightly here in south Buckhead. About a half inch so far though. Curious to see if it continues to build back to the south and west the next few hours...or just tapers off.
Noticeably heavier returns as I just crossed I-85 headed south

Just spoke with my mom. She left her Charleston vacation early to avoid the snow and drove back to Chapel Hill. May be in for a surprise there. RAP keeps trending upwards with 3" in CH.

This from my friend in Andalusia, AL.
flurries already falling in durham well ahead of schedule. local stations been saying all day we shouldnt expect anything but a couple hours of light snow later tonight... but then ive been tracking all the live time info and am genuinely so confused why they havent even issued an advisory
few and far between and have to squint but getting a few small snowflakes
