Just a warning for those upstream the cutoff is VERY sharp. I am 12 miles from Atlanta and am bone dry.

They got a lot of criticism (NWS) in light of there forecasts a few days ago for being aggressive in light of pathetic model runs but here we are

They still mention sleet could mix still close to the coast, but also noted a strong 850mb FGEN band setting up across the area which could lead to even higher totals thru my region...
Just saw Mobile officially has 5.4" of snow. 6" I their all time record set back in 1895!

Temps already down to 33 on James Island. Things are gonna turn quick. High was supposed to be 39 and I don’t think it got there

37 at the airport for high I saw. Dewpoint was 10. Looks like that fill in the HRRR was noting is occurring to take shape now.

There's an intense cutoff. You can see it outside too where the cloud deck is now visible above again. That line is real.

Just an FYI the Atlanta airport is 10-15 miles south of the city
Light snow continues. Visibility is dropping and the temperature continues to fall. Now 27 so we're moistening up quickly.
Rap is still uptrending. Really sharp cutoff near ATL 
How long do you think our area stays under snow for based off radar?
Getting snow reports in the foothills now. Only thing close to that depiction is the RAP 
central NC looking better and better, prayyyin it verifies

Dime size flakes here, now, up to about .5" so far.

I'm in Smyrna too right now for work and its snowing lightly here so it must be verrrrrrry sharp..lol
