Of course it is... as soon as I say it’s trending more negative for several runs, it stops and goes positive. I finally come out yesterday and complain about the positive trend then that stops and it goes back the other way. Maybe I should just forecast a torch the rest of the winter so we are swimming in white gold

I think you’ll get the pattern change you saw. Probably going to happen around the 26ish. My guess would be you’d get your 10 days or so of a solid winter pattern for the US then.

The spread on the warm side is scary but the clustering of 25-75% being below normal eases my mind.

One of the best years of frost I remember. Seems every few days we have a mega frost. I may be able to measure more frost than snow by winters end.
This morning was a good one it was frosted on the screens on the back porch and all of my rose bushes

You can prune roses starting in November after first frost
Agreed! Haha I know we kid about it but I've never had this many freezing fog mornings and this much rime ice on shrubs and trees.
