Pattern January 2021 - Joyless January

I mean seriously, it's a very sad thing when a lobe of the TPV drops in to near Maine and it's not even close to making us snow.
No kidding. I don’t know, maybe it’s my inner weenie but these model depictions just don’t look right. Maybe it is just an unusual H5 look bit I really don’t see how with these features North America is not colder.

So everything I read says it could take upwards of 5 weeks for us to see the effects of SSW event and that models will be a cluster in predicting that. So I guess we will have to either come to grips with that or not. Sure it could just not transpire but I’m going to go with the models not being reliable for now.
