Checking out the long range, I’m really beginning to get interested with the 3rd week in January. As others have said it looks like we’ll be putting real Arctic air into pattern and the blocking over the top looks great. Hopefully the Plains, Midwest, and Northeast can add to the snow cover over the next week to minimize the the modifying of the cold air.

I want a miller B CAD setup, I want a nice cold high pressure to my north around NY, I want my cold air here before the event funneling down East of the mountains feeding in -4 to -5 850s, my dewpoints in the teens and temps in the low 30s, want a bowling ball S/S wave around southern AL/GA
