NAM looks worse but still should be decent. We don’t need much to be happy
Not necessarily. Gulf convection is a big thorn in our side a lot of times and that’s exactly what the HRRR showed.Precip always comes further north from central Alabama than modeled
I'm guessing that is what the 3K is going to show as well. Not necessarily. Gulf convection is a big thorn in our side a lot of times and that’s exactly what the HRRR showed.
Not necessarily seen plenty of times were they have significant differences. The truth is wasnt really suppressed look just lighter on moisture feed low track was similar as previous runs.I'm guessing that is what the 3K is going to show as well.
Looks like I’m going chasing to **checks notes** Gadsden?Kuchera map ?View attachment 139712
Similar Low placement as NAMHi-res 00z GFS is moist.View attachment 139713
The 3K only has snow in the mountains. Not much precipitation in the ATL area. It appears FV3 is similar. NAM is on an island so this is probably not really a possibility. Fun to watch, though! Not necessarily seen plenty of times were they have significant differences. The truth is wasnt really suppressed look just lighter on moisture feed low track was similar as previous runs.
