Insanely heavy sleet rn
Now up to 0.25” in 20 minutes. You couldn’t draw ask for better rates for maximum accrualBecause the rates aren’t really that intense (think a summer or spring shower) but it’s coming down at a sufficient clip it’s piling on super fast. I want to say I was around 0.1” before the line came through and in 45 minutes of ZR I matched that. There’s at least another 3 hours I would say? As long as you don’t get under an intense band you’ll be all ZR or just about all ZR and it piles up fast
Is your power back on?I honestly thought those heavy rates at 29/30 would mostly just wash off, but it actually added an insane amount of ice over a 20 minute period here.
Hopefully we can hang on to sleet for the duration. Nothing falling in Concord but should be anytime now.getting sleet rn
Yeah my tempest jumped to 30 pretty quickly but is somewhat holding that.temp hasn't moved as much as i'd like, kinda ridiculously heavy ZR. not looking like a ton of runoff either.
it's starting to pile up now...it's about that perfect rate to freeze. Temp here is 30.0 even. Picked up at least an inch or so of sleet since last night.I honestly thought those heavy rates at 29/30 would mostly just wash off, but it actually added an insane amount of ice over a 20 minute period here.
NegativeIs your power back on?
And still acruing unfortunatelyLooks like we're already up to 29-30, but that seems to be where a lot of the western upstate settled. let's see
29.5 in Rutherford County. That band brought up the temp for sure.Looks like we're already up to 29-30, but that seems to be where a lot of the western upstate settled. let's see
