Let’s see if we can get a round 2 incoming
GFS/CMC bringing a hit in the same euro time frame simultaneously. All just inside day 10, let’s see if we stay consistent the next several suites and get us a specific frame
our wave got sheared apart. i would say a storm like that is on the low end of our possibilities (at risk of sounding greedy) and had bad timing luck with other shortwaves. we'll see what ensembles say

I’m not kidding, this pattern is as good as I’ve seen in a decade at least. Wave after wave. If and that’s a big if this continues to hold serve, everywhere in the south likely gets 1 storm. We could get multiple come through with each one dropping the goods on different parts of the south similar to the GFS. Mid Atlantic scores first, then east of the apps, then gulf coast areas as more arctic air entrenches itself

want to say- if you are a hobbyist that's a little less experienced tracking these, and you're wondering why everyone is clamoring over these events the GFS is showing that are very far south but also very light... the issue is timing and luck, lining up different up pieces of energy to create a bigger storm. this run so far hasn't been very lucky in that department. to be clear this is a loaded pattern and i expect the ensembles to show some crazy solutions.

I’d like to see the first big storm on the 5th-6th cut towards the Lakes or interior, set the edge of the glacier and then we shove the baroclinic zone south for the 2nd & 3rd systems
I like that weak wave Jan 7. It’s perfect
