That dry slot in NW GA is tragic af

Sitting here the Polk/Paulding line in GA the wind is just whipping thru the trees you can just feel the cold being brought in the feels like the ull is making its upswing
Yea the wind is really picking up, lights flickered over here in Yorkville

Well this fell right in line with what I had in mind. We ended up with about 2.5 inches here. Still a couple bands might bump it up to about 3 inches. Amazing went from 75 degrees at 8pm last night with tornado warning to a winter storm warning tonight. I would have to rate the event about A- for just all the changes in 24 hours. Good luck to my friends east of me tonight and tomorrow.

Finally got to freezing here near downtown Huntsville. O C. We are also nearing three inches of snow, which puts us at a steady 1"/he rate for the past three hours. Weve just had a heavier band start that will probably be our last. What a gorgeous snow. Best one for this location in a long time.

Down to 45 degrees and lots of rain here in the far SE of Bartow Co, Georgia, near Acworth. I went out on the porch to get a “feel” for things and noticed that there was what looked like steam coming off our drive and cul de sac area as the wind blew the rain. Maybe this rain and wind are cooling off the ground a bit? Have to drive my son to work at 6:30am, so really hoping this amounts to nothing here, on the one hand. But can’t help be excited about snow possibilities - so conflicted! ?

Radar shows show breaking into Cedar Bluff and points north now... 35 at cedar bluff that seems a little early for these parts
