Yup, I believe so too. Bring it home!

We have yet another solution lol. This one looks like a ULL. If it doesn't get stuck, maybe it's big time for some areas in the western part of the SE.
No, it's not a ULL, it's a surface low that is associated with the boundary. There is more separation from the trailing energy on this run.

0z shows that system will be a close call for many. MBY still in the game. The general trends are encouraging.

I don't know about you, but this sure looks like a ULL, or tries to turn into one there:

I made a call too early though. That was how it looked to me there.

HP too weak to deliver the cold to make the system work for most.

The frontal boundary is what's stopping the colder air to push further south and east. There needs to be more separation from the trailing energy. No separation means that the low will ride along the boundary, giving rain mostly south and east of the boundary.

What really sucks is the awful job the models did, until really yesterday, for the big cold push after this weekends system. MBY went from like 15 on the euro now up to near freezing. I know things change...but that was a bust in the making for sure. Again, the models started really backing off that super good push of cold over the SE *for early next week* yesterday.

Man for those of us to the west we gladly roll the dice with that setup

My thoughts too. We're still almost a week away, and it's close. The key players are there at least.

With this system I feel like we need a much better push of cold down here after this weekends storm. Then we need just a little more separation. northern branch piece push through first to re-enforce the cold push. overall though, I still like the pattern that we are heading toward. We will continue to have new looks every model run...
