Just went back and looked at the 12z Canadian. Can't remember the last time I saw a high pressure that strong.

Do not get caught up in where the pretty colors are at this range. Just know there may be potential for a winter storm
Nothing. Southern system moves along while the arctic high over the plains just sits in place. Whenever I see moisture streaming up way ahead of a high pressure like that, it's an easy call. It won't be a big southeastern snowstorm. The high needs to move more in tandem with the low and almost squash the system. That's not happening here.
