Stolen info from the bad people.
Something I would watch is just how much that Bermuda high strengthens in the next couple days. Models have been very consistent on having it get fairly stout. Strong enough and you’ll see the southern and west end of that guidance more likely to verify.

The GFS is weird. She's back east on this run. Tampa Area landfall.

ICON similar to 12Z
The 18z ICON comes in close the Big Bend and then ends up sitting and spinning just off the coast between SAV and CHS

So far the GFS is weaker, faster, no stalling and not a big deal for anyone

Now it slows to a crawl over the gulf stream and drops to 981 MB

Stuck and down to 975 MB. Back to a rainy, gusty, overwash, several high tide cycles for the OBX and sounds
GFS very climo like. Mostly just low country flooding, deadly rip currents and beach erosion.

Yikes. Slightly closer to the coast. By this time there would be massive overwash and building high ties. Forecast nightmare for NHC

And inland she goes. With this scenario i would imagine a rather large dangerous storm surge will come with it

A slow moving Cat 1 or 2 hurricane hugging the southeast coast would present some major flooding concerns in Florida and eastern portions of Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina. This is one storm we will have to watch closely. The models seem to be coming into better agreement as far as what might happen with today's runs.
