Tropical Hurricane Sally

With a further south/east track, I wonder if sally forms a new storm off South Carolina or in the Bahamas. Prime location this time of year
With it already taking that east turn, some mets will discuss whether or not (no pun) if any of the rain shield will make it into NC. ;(

Anyone think sally gets retired

I already said yes based on my own feelings. However, I have since seen polls that suggest it has a very good chance at being retired. Sally's vast and strong impacts were really more like a major H (kind of like Ike in 2008 and the cat 2 1881 H that hit GA) due to such slow movement/long duration, it being such a wet system, strengthening up til not far from landfall (opposite of what I predicted), and it hitting a pretty highly populated area.
