115 is represented by knots. So the Spann is 115 to 140. Shear? Maybe on the south side. Water temps? Favorable. Does it look like the inner core towers arent fully developed? Exhaust looks good with symmetrical cirrus around it.
I don’t believe people are freaking out. He just asked a question.Let’s all just take a massive breath for a second … it doesn’t matter whether it’s 115 or 155 at landfall … a little dry air here a little north shift there a small eye starting to pop .. maybe it goes away… let’s just relax here and watch it evolve and stop worrying about the specifics every second … no matter what happens a deadly life threatening hurricane is headed towards Louisiana and that’s just that
To add to your great advice, read the NHC discussion to understand the "real" forecast. They have done a great job this year. Btw, they have NO comment on dry air. The only possibility at this time that is mentioned is EWRC.Let’s all just take a massive breath for a second … it doesn’t matter whether it’s 115 or 155 at landfall … a little dry air here a little north shift there a small eye starting to pop .. maybe it goes away… let’s just relax here and watch it evolve and stop worrying about the specifics every second … no matter what happens a deadly life threatening hurricane is headed towards Louisiana and that’s just that
Yeah I enjoy pondering difficult forecasts like intensity and specific track. I like seeing people's guesses and reasonings behind it. As Nick said, if you are in LA the prep should be the same, get out.Doesn’t believe people are freaking out. He just asked a question.
Yeah imagine discussing things like that on a weather forum ?Yeah I enjoy pondering difficult forecasts like intensity and specific track. I like seeing people's guesses and reasonings behind it. As Nick said, if you are in LA the prep should be the same, get out.
Lol I mean true I’m just saying it gets a little annoying hearing “I think it’s xxx mph at landfall” 16 different times and they’re all like 5 mph off.. I get it’s easy to get caught up in stuff like that but I like hearing analysis of processes going on and explanations during serious times like these but I mean hey we can always make a thread for guesses!Yeah imagine discussing things like that on a weather forum ?
It better start strengthening then150 mph landfall
