Tropical Hurricane Ida

- Ida ties with the 1856 Last Island hurricane and Laura (2020) as the strongest hurricane to make landfall in Louisiana.
- Ida ties with six other storms (Last Island 1856, Indianola 1886, Florida Keys 1919, Freeport 1932, Charley 2004 & Laura 2020) as the 5th strongest hurricane to make landfall on the U.S. mainland.
- Ida ties with Donna 1960 as the 9th lowest pressure for a landfalling U.S. hurricane.

Unbelievable
 
We moved over to LaPlace last night to gain access to the river post landfall. Going downhill fast here. Listening to the EMS channel there are reports of people in the water at Grande Isle. Its going to be catastrophic damage in a widespread area. No clue when we will be released to even go out. Worst place it could have hit
 
I don't have cable..is there any way to get a legit Weather Channel feed?
 
So this dude Matt is live in a car on N8 Snyder on YouTube in 100+mph winds and this dude comes running up with a dog or dogs and Matt didn’t want him in his car because of the smell and mold. Dude left in the weather and people are letting him know in the chat. Edit-Matt just said tried to get him in his car but the guy is walking to the hospital.

Nope only available via cable/satellite subscription. They don't have a streaming app, unfortunately.

It’s times like these when true colors are shown by humanity. I remember watching a clip from Hurricane Katrina where a chaser also refused to a ride to someone who just narrowly escaped death.
